Hello fellow bloggers! I thought I would join all of you finally! I figured I need a place to put all of those ramblings that just toss around in my mind all the time!
This weekend was busy but wonderful. Friday night the kids and I were headed to see "Enchanted" until Andrew decided to throw up everywhere. So those plans went out the window. Abi and I went to get a movie, waited 30 min. at Taco Bueno for food, dashed into Sams for a book, and ran quickly into Target for Sprite, (which they were out of)ice cream for her party, and new curtain rods. We came home and we all watched "Unaccompanied Minors" which was a good family film. By the end of the movied, Andrew was over what he had. Thank you Lord!
On Saturday, we attended Andrew's last basketball game then went to the party at Kid's Station. They did not get to play as long as they liked but all was well w/ the promise of Sonic. We then ran to Abi's soccer camp, chatted a minute, then ran Andrew to his soccer practice. I ran home to throw in a load of laundry and do dishes then ran back to get Abi. Andrew spent the night w/ his friend Ethan to do "man things" since Abs was having a girly party. Her party started at 4:30 and boy did those little girls go strong until 8:00! I was so impressed w/ their behavior! They were wonderful! I am so thankful for my helpers that stayed and helped me! They were a God send.
Sunday we went to church, ate Cici's, then ran back to church to see the kids friends get baptized. This was the first baptism in the new baptistry and it was so neat to experience. Yay for Jacob and Zack!! The rest of the afternoon was spent playing and resting before Awana's.
I talked w/ Chelsea's youth teacher this morning and she reccommended a counselor for Eric and I. I am so thankful she did. I facilitate a group that helps people cope w/ losses. I know all the verses, all the things to say, yet I cannot cope w/ this. This is a much different loss of course, but a loss is a loss. It just stinks being in a position in which we cannot do anything but pray. Which that really shouldn't stink because God is ultimatly in control but you know......me and my darn control issues. So please be praying about this for us. I think it would be good for us both. Our marriage is not on the rocks whatsoever, but it would be nice to be able to share what we think and have someone help us along.
This week is shaping up to be busy (as always) but that's ok. March is always crazy for us. Lots of birthdays, camping and fishing trips, spring break at my sisters, Women's Retreat, soccer, etc. My friend, Adriana, and I will start walking tomorrow morning. I am thinking "good looking body for swim suit in Florida" That's my goal!

Hey Aimee....I always love reading about your busy exciting life. I have missed that on MYSPACE, ha! My life is so boring, it's nice to read about someone else's exciting one. I can't believe the kids are the age they are. I feel like we have lost two years somewhere, ha! We need to meet up sometime. I ran into Stacey at work last week. Grace had just gotten her shots. :(
Yeah! :)
