Last night we celebrated Hannah's 8th birthday! We picked Chelsea up at school then headed to her grave. We bought her some beautiful flowers and 2 balloons. We took pictures and said a prayer. We then headed home for just a bit, then headed to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It was very good but I was a bit shocked at the price. Eric and I are used to paying Cheddar prices! ;-) We came home and played some Wii bowling. My kids are in an intense competition to beat each other in bowling. Eric then bet the winner which made her pretty upset. hehe! We had some cake and sang happy birthday to Hannah. Funny little insert-we all said "and many more" at the end. It was an awkward moment then I said "in Heaven." lol We played Uno Blast while we ate our cake. It was a great evening! It was great having a teenager use my straightener and make up again. It was a good reminder for me to love and treasure the messes because I would rather have people here making a mess than no one making them.
Hannah's grave with her pretty flowers
The only picture that we will ever have of our 4 kids. Chelsea's camera had a timer so she got a great one of all 6 of us!

*Did anyone notice Chelsea's hair?!

Glad you had a good evening! Chelsea's hair looks great! I'm pretty sure I just saw her that one time at the pool and it was dark then.
Chelsea looks normal again!! I love it so much more!!
Glad you had a great evening and don't stress about the dinner! Live and learn!!
aimee, glad it was a nice evening.
it breaks my heart that you lost your sweet hannah. i totally teared up at the picture of your 4 kids. but aimee, the way that you have used your loss to minister to others and then give the glory to God, is absolutely amazing to me. that is something that hannah can be proud of.....her short life has made SUCH a difference in the world...b/c of her sweet momma!
