Thankful...

Our family has been abundantly blessed lately! God is so good! I wanted to document the wonderful things the Lord has done for us because every day is not good. I want to be able to look at this list on a down day and be reminded of His everlasting goodness!

I am thankful for..

-my wonderful friend R.C. who brought my son chicken eggs to hatch because he expressed an interest in it.

-again my wonderful friend R.C. who sold me 2 of my curriculum needs, plus extra books, for $30!

-my friend L.H who last year blessed us with her old/our new bed frame. I have never had a foot board!

-again my wonderful friend L.H who blessed us this past weekend with a beautiful quilt set to go on the bed. I have always wanted a bed & breakfast type room. I am getting close to it!

-our profitable garage sale. I made enough to buy groceries for our family for 2 weeks, money to cover mine & Abi's lunch this weekend, and some to just put into the bank. God is good!

-my friend K.C. who allowed our family to clean the church while she was gone. This profit also helped our budget!

-M.A. who is allowing us to clean the other half of the church in 2 weeks. What a blessing!

-the pennypile website and Evelyn's gleaning. These 2 women help my grocery bills in more ways than I can count.

-the pioneer woman cooks. Wow! She has some fabulous recipes and my family is enjoying them very much!

-a husband who works hard and wants to work hard. He is working very hard at re-building the chicken coop in our backyard so that we can raise chickens and hopefully make some extra money and be a bit healthier. He is also learning to re-load his own ammo and plans on doing that on the side also.

-a husband who is teaching our son to be a Godly working man and our daughters to be Godly women

-Children who love the Lord and love each other

-the money that has been provided so that Abi, Kaitlyne and I can enjoy a nice excursion to the American Doll Boutique this weekend to celebrate Abi's birthday.

-the money that was provided for Andrew's dad & lad campout this weekend.

-friends who pray. And pray things that you do not even mention out loud! They pray earnestly for my family and love my family

-great health reports!

-our family's health

-people who want to help with Glory Babies

-great parents who are willing to help us in so many ways. I am so very thankful for the parents the Lord has blessed us with.

-Eric's parents attending Andrew's banquet Saturday night

-all the people in many different areas who teach my children. ELO, Sunday school, Ballet, Piano, Cub Scouts and other things. You have such a positive influence on my children. Thank you!

-the Dave Ramsey course which is teaching us to live a wise life with our money

-Life. God has blessed us and may we never forget it!

Thanks for the savings tips - I'm hopeful to go to the store this weekend! And, you can really freeze milk?? How long does it last after the expiration date?? Hopefully we'll see ya at skate day!

P.S. FYI I get my milk at Sam's Club for I believe $2.98 a gallon (I get skim). It says it doesn't have the growth hormones. I don't know if you have a membership, but that's the cheapest I've found!
