My daughter is 15!!

Chelsea turned 15! 15!! That is crazy. She was with her mom on her actual birthday. She spent the entire day with us on Tuesday due to the loss of a friend. She just could not handle going to school. Despite that, we actually had a very good day. We celebrated with a family party that evening after a meal of chinese food (her request) that her daddy fixed. Chels decided she wanted to have a Dora the Explorer party so she, her siblings, and the neighborhood kids decorated the house and the yard. It was quite funny! I am so proud of the beautiful young woman she has become and is still becoming. She has such a wonderful heart. She is a great, caring big sister who loves them. She is a great friend. She is fun, witty, and a joy to talk with. She has been through so much in her short life and I am so proud of how she is handling the curveballs she has been thrown. So happy (late) birthday Pumpkin!

All the kids with their daddy

Her new bedspead

They look thrilled, don't they?

Standing by some of her Dora decorations. These signs were on the trees in the yard with balloons and streamers also. She also received a big Dora balloon from her nini and papa. The picture is sideways so I won't post it.

About to blow out the candles! Right after she blew them out she commented, "Oh my goodness. It just occurred to me that I am halfway to 30!" hehehe!! Love it!

Her new bedspread. She was sick of pictures at this point. We put the curtains up last weekend. They look great! They are striped and just a lot of fun. We will be painting the walls so ignore how horrible they look. That is from the anger & wrath of Andrew.

She and a bunch of her friends went to the Hannah Montana last weekend. It wasn't her birthday weekend but it just fit with the post. She did use birthday money to go! ;-) They all made Hannah Montana t-shirts and ate pizza with us before they went. It's nice to know they can still go see good movies and have fun. We really like all her friends. They were very respectful and a lot of fun. They impressed me with how nice they were to Andrew and Abi. Two of the girls spent the night so we heard lots of giggling until 2 a.m. Yes, you read that right! Chelsea spent the night!
