I would like to take our family on a little mini vacation combined with Father's Day. My original idea got nixed. I thought it would be fun to drive to Gulf Shores Fri.-Mon. but Eric said that would be too crazy plus with his work, he cannot really take off. We have Six Flags tickets. I thought about all of us going to Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Maybe I could sweet talk my sister into letting us stay with her Friday night (in Belton) and drive to San Antonio on Saturday. But will Eric really enjoy that? Plus, he wants nothing outside. Then I thought about just going to Dallas and finding him a place to drive an indoor go cart. Ugh! I do not know what to do! It needs to be a weekend thing, I want the entire family to go (if I combine it with Father's Day, I have more of a chance to get Chelsea to come) If we did the indoor go cart thing, can anyone think of a fun place to take our family for lunch the next day? Has anyone gone to The Magic Time Machine? If we just hang out and swim that night, the kids would have fun. I don't know!!! HELP!!!!
Oh, and it needs to be semi cheap! LOL

Magic Time Machine is fun, fun, fun. We took Taylor there for her 8th birthday, but it is not very cheap...You will definitely have good memories. I don't know about an indoor go cart, but I would guess they are there somewhere. I advise MTM for a great time. I have been many times over the years and always enjoy it.
Have the kids ask for directions to the bathroom...
what about renting a houseboat on lake of the pines even though it is outdoors eric can just jump in the water when he gets hot!
