Our church held a bike-a-thon. While this did not contribute directly to Eric and Chelsea's trip, it was to help raise money to send the orphans to camp. They raised over $6,000!

We held a car wash at Brookshire's one Saturday in May. We had a lot of great help, including many teens and our friend Brad and his kids. They raised over $500 that day! Just thinking about the teens and their willingness to help still brings tears to my eyes!

Chelsea also put streaks of color in many people's hair to raise money. This is my friend Laura, remember her? The awesome field day coordinator, getting her hair done. My friends Kara, Christi, Brandy (also my sil) got their hair done and several of Chelsea's friends had theirs done also. It was fun to visit when people came to get their hair done!
