Andrew's Second Best Day

On Friday I wanted to spend some quality time with the kids before I left for Womens Retreat. We didn't do much school (I had good intentions!) so they had fun playing together that morning. That afternoon we decided to eat ice cream and cookies and play "Sorry." Andrew declared this was his best day ever. Then he said, "No, this is my second best day." When I asked him what his first best day was he replied,"When Mallory got saved!" Mallory is Chelsea's little sister on her moms side. She stayed with us for a majority of the summer during the day. During a VBS last year she accepted Christ. It was such a thrill for us! I am so glad to know that he was as touched by the moment as us. He has such a heart for God. I pray it continues.

Eating ice cream and cookies. When did my kids start looking so much older?!

Playing sorry. We had a treat later on. Eric was able to join us for a game. Abi was upset that we had to start over because she was about to win. When I won the second game she made a point to say that she should have won the first game. ;-)
