Everyone knows by now that we had snow on Friday morning! It was wonderful! We declared a snow day and the kids enjoyed playing outside in it. They had a bit of prompting from me because I knew it would be gone soon. Who knows how long before this happens again? They enjoyed playing awhile then they enjoyed cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. They went back outside and chased each other with snowballs. Abi and I almost got Andrew with a huge snowball. They called me outside, and knowing what was possibly planned, I grabbed a can a silly string and got them before they got me! It was great fun! When their toes, fingers and noses could stand no more they came in. They had already gone threw about 3 sets of clothes, lots of gloves and socks, and towels mopping up the floor. They threw on their swimsuits and jumped in the bathtub to warm up. They played a computer game in the afternoon because sadly the snow was gone. We wanted to play monopoly but chores took a bit longer than necessary but they got done.

That night Eric and I went on a date. The kids stayed with their meme and pop. We went to Chili's which was free! YAY for Nini and Papa for our Valentines gift. After that we headed to the movies to see "Vantage Point" and ran into Steve and Laura. The movie was excellent. We all enjoyed it. The next morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of doughnuts, coffee, and chocolate milk. Then it was off to soccer games! It was freezing, the wind was crazy, but the sun was out. Stacey, Caden, Jared and Grace joined us along with the ever faithful Papa, Nini, and Aunt Caroline. The kids did well but the score did not reflect that. Abi had a good time at Suzannah's birthday party skating that afternoon. We rushed home, I ran to get a hair cut then off to Nacogdoches for my Aunt Glenda's wedding!
