Womens Retreat Photos

Darinda M., the back of Patricia S., and some other insane ladies. This was taken in the bathroom during the "wet t-shirt contest." Don't ask. It was good clean fun, I promise!

Cindy L. and Linda P. ripping the wet t-shirt apart. I had a chance to really talk to these 2 women at lunch yesterday. They taught me a lot in a short amount of time. It was truly a blessing to get to know them better.

Proof that I can be crafty! Well, if you look closely Debbie A. is making it for me. Katie E. is looking on. She is probably feeling sorry for me since I do not have a crafty bone in my body. ;-) We had the chance to make clipboards. I made one for Abi. She seemed to love it even though it was just not that pretty. I painted Andrew a rock and he loved that! Thank God for the niceness of kids!

Here is my Friday night chat group. L-R: Vickie N., Rai M., Patricia S., Kara C. and me. I know all these women pretty well but I got to know Rai and Vickie much better this weekend.

Our friend Christi H. was at another Pine Cove camp working with the youth. She has such a calling and I am glad it's her not me! ;-)We went and saw her briefly on Sat. during free time. The camp she was at was so cool! It was very kid oriented. We all wanted to stay and play! We also took Vickie's son a towel because he had forgotten his. He pretended not to know us. Teenagers! L-R: Laura H., me, Christi H. and Allison W. This was after our "happy hour Sonic run!"

This is for Mark! Here is a hot pic of your woman, Christy M.! I told her I was putting it up! ;-)

Angie C., Jolene H., and Kathy S. These women are all very special to me. They love the Lord and love to share it! Their joy for the Lord lights up their entire face!

My new friend Jessica P. How cute is she?! She is so down to earth. I hope I get the chance to know her more. She is just so sweet!

Cindy W. and Kim A. Again two women who bring so much joy to others. Cindy teaches my kids in Awana's and they are in love with her. She battled breast cancer and she shared her "rocky road" experience this weekend. She is truly an inspiration. Her smile and the peace she has will bring a smile to anyone's face! Kim helps with the children's ministry at our church. She is just fun to be around. I love talking to her and often take up a lot of her time while doing my newsletters. But it's so fun! She helps me so much with Glory Babies and it's truly appreciated. (as does Kathy S. from above! She even let me touch the printer last time!)

Our wonderful retreat committee! Thanks again ladies! Everything was wonderful! The goodies bags, (wow Jennifer!) the talks, the small groups, the down time, everything! I can't wait for next year!
