My stepmom
My brother, Christopher, left for college on Saturday. My stepmom and dad have been rocks up until now. I have been the basket case. We have finally switched places. Carol, my stepmom, is so sad right now it breaks my heart. My dad has gone dove hunting for the weekend so she is all alone. I hate when my parents are sad. I remember talking to my mom one day and she started crying and she hung up so she could cry. I have never even heard my mom cry until that day! My brother Phillip was distressed he even called her wondering what he could do. So if you think about it, please pray for Carol. She has had a good weekend with friends up until now. Now there is just silence. Pray also for Christopher. Pray that he will stick close to God.

Oh.. all alone. Today we had a tinge of that sadness. Today my evacuated family up & left. My daughter was covered in tears... I so understood. God & I had a little chat... The birds were a comfort flitting around the yard... and the hurricane brought all my family here... a rare occurance... God reminded He is my comfort!!! I pray God guides Carol. FBC so need extra hands right now... pondering that here too!!! Thanks again!!! and again!!! ss
