or at least have been declared as having the swine flu. ~sigh~ Andrew and Abi both had a tempature this morning. When it reached 104.6 I decided that this may not be so good. So after a visit to the Dr. with a little swab test thrown in, it was announced H1N1 has hit our family. After some begging, I also got a preventative for Chelsea. She has finals next week and cannot miss school. I also packed up her bags and had to send her back to her mom's until the younger ones are better. It's bittersweet. I am so sad to see her go, as everyone is. Andrew and Abi were more sad about that than anything else. But I also know Andrew and Abi need my full concentration to get better. This will also help Chels. I know that I can keep Andrew & Abi here as long as needed and can also school a bit during the first week of Christmas vacation. I felt bad because I kept asking the Dr. about other people and how this would affect them. I finally told her that I did care about Andrew and Abi. I just knew that she was going to give them something to feel better right then. Please be praying for a quick recovery and that no one else will get this. They are both so miserable. Everything hurts. They are a bit sad that they will miss Christmas parties and possibly their piano Christmas concert and their cousin's first birthday.
I have lots of make up blogs to post. We had Thanksgiving, Christmas with my mom, a field trip to the tree farm and just some fun pics to share. But this mom is worn out and is going to bed. I don't think I will sleep very well. I will probably be checking on them every hour (high fevers that spike quickly scare me. Thank you Nathan!!) and they may need me during the night. I am also trying to get motivated to go work out in the morning. It will be my only time to be able to get out.
I hope all you in blog world are doing well! Thanks for keeping up your blogs so that I have something to read. ;-)
Oh please be praying for sil Raegan also. She is due to deliver any day and is having some small issues. Pray she does not get this swine flu, her boys stay well, and that little Isabelle stays where she is supposed to until her lungs are developed.

UGH I HOPE THEY FEEL BETTER... IF I HADN'T "OVERDONE IT" THIS WEEKEND I COULD MAKE THEM COOKIES OR SOMETHING. IF YOU NEED TO I CAN LET YOU BORROW JACOB I HEAR HE IS PRETTY GOOD AT 911 CALLS. YOU KNOW JUST IN CASE.
I'm so sorry. We will be praying for you guys.
Great title - I have a swine in my house, but that refers more to the condition of her room than the condition of her health. Do doctors diagnose that also?
Hi Amiee,
There is a ton to do in SA. Everything I do, however, is mostly for 4 and 2 yr olds. There are always the main attractions… Sea World, Fiesta Texas, Zoo. SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas will still be decorated for Christmas. If you wanted to go to Sea World, we have some coupons because we have season passes. Admission (with the coupons) is $40 per person. We wouldn’t mind if you used them because they expire at the end of Jan. and we will not use them. I am too big to be walking around Sea World.
I am coupon queen, so if you want to eat at Rainforest café on the Riverwalk, their website has a $10 off coupon you can print out. They take reservations too so you can avoid the wait. We usually eat there and they get desert at the chocolate store on the Riverwalk (Riverwalk Candy and Chocolate).
You can go up to the top of the tower of Americas. I think it is about $10 a person but there is supposed to be 4D ride at the top.
There is a weird museum downtown called the Buckhorn. It is pretty cool. It has crazy animals, like two headed ones and real, stuffed African animals. It is full of animal anomalies. If your boys are hunters, they may think it was interesting. The website has $1 off every ticket. Look it up and see what it is about. There is also the wax museum downtown but we have never been there so I don’t know how it is.
That’s all I can think of now. I’ll let you know if I come up with something else. Email me if you have any questions, copes@uthscsa.eud .
Emily
Sorry, email is copes@uthscsa.edu (not eud)
