Since this blog is for my children, I should probably document each day. It will be more than likely boring for most, but that's ok! And I will soon find out how to post pics!!
I decided to sleep in a bit and not work out at an early time. I thought I would have time later in the morning to do wii fit. I thought wrong. Andrew and I picked Chelsea up for school then headed to clean the rest of the church. Abi and I did the other half yesterday. Because of the break we have had from ELO, it's been so much easier to clean the church. We start back up next week so we will see how it goes. After that we came home and I was all ready to get on the wii but Eric and I needed to discuss some financial things. Since we were going to lunch with my mom I needed to shower quickly!
We went to La Delicias which is a new Mexican restaurant. It is now my favorite!! It was soooo good! My burrito was so spicy I had 4 cups of water! I love it! After that I headed to get my birthday present; an hour massage! The kids went to play at my mom's. After my relaxing hour, my friend Laura met us at my moms and we headed to the park. It was perfect park weather! Stacey and her crew of 3 joined us also. We had a great time. Abi fell in the water and was very embaressed. She didn't want to play anymore. After her pal Caden got there, he convinced her to play. I was so impressed with all the boys handling of this situation. Abi was the only girl (Well, Grace was there but she is 2 soo...) out of 4 other kids. They were all very compassionate toward her and never made fun of her. Isaac was so sweet when he came to tell me that she had fallen. He said it in a quiet voice so he wouldn't embarress her anymore.
The Hill boys came home with us so their parents could enjoy a night out with some friends. I hurridly ran Andrew to b-ball practice (I thought it was at 7, nope 6!) and came home to fix dinner. I became distracted by the chocolate chips in the fridge so I made cookies. Which made me think of my friend Laura C. and her family. So we spontaniously called them up and asked them to come over tomorrow night. I am so glad they are spontanious! Eric went to pick Andrew up. He called me at 10 after 7 and reported no one was there, not even in the locker room. I started to get a bit worried and asked him if he was in the right gym. His reply? "I must have been smoking something. I am at swim, not basketball!" Oops! Wrong side of town and wrong sport! He called the coach to assure him and Andrew he was coming. We enjoyed pizza calzones for dinner while watching "Punky Brewster." All the kids loved it! The Hill's came shortly after dessert and brought us a signed DVD of Tim Hawkins! So sweet and unexpected!
Today was a great day! I love sunny days!! Tomorrow is b-ball game day and more than likely a Sam's trip will be in order.
Quote of the day: Well, I would love to put several of the comments that the Hill boys made but their mom may kill me. They are too cute for words! They had us in stitches. I will use one cute one Isaac said.
Isaac: (while holding a sword and pretending to stab someone) "You must die! You have betrayed me!"
Me: "Isaac, do you know what betrayed means?"
Isaac: "Yes"
Me: "So what is it?"
Isaac: "I don't know."
