My super cool friend Laura rode is this super cool plane and went super fast. She is so cool. I wanna be her.
I wanted both of my kids to experience riding in the plane. Abi was finally convinced once she figured she could go with her bestie Anna Jo. Andrew, not so much. For those who know Andrew, you know we must drag him on everything. Seriously. When we were going to Disney World he refused to get out of the car because he was afraid to fly. We drag him on every ride at Six Flags and Disney World. And you know what? He almost always loves them. If he doesn't, he is fine with it. But getting him on is a nightmare. So I tried to drag him on. Literally. His shirt was coming off. No dice. He ran. I tried to calm him down and pray with him. I told him I was scared and needed him to go with me. (that was the truth!) Nope, he was having none of it. So after a performance that would win me "Worst Mom of the Year" I went without him. On the way home, in a very teary voice, he told me he wished he would have tried. ~Sigh~
Andrew then became designated photographer. I had the joy of riding with 3 of the Joy boys, a Harkins boy, and an Ash cutie. They were all so adorable. They knew "Mrs. Akin" was very nervous so they kept checking on me. Little Ash even held my hand and told me all about how planes work. His dad is a pilot so he knows all this stuff.
Here is the plane we rode in. It's so old and cool. Kinda like my nanny. ;-)
See my hand gripping the bar? I was just a bit nervous.
Flying so high! Ok, not really, but it was higher than I can jump. Andrew is an awesome photographer!
Andrew's friend getting ready to go up. He looks a tad bit nervous.
Abi and her friends getting ready to go. She was supposed to take video but she got sidetracked looking out the window. I can't really blame her. On a side note, see the co-pilot? That is Chelsea's intended. He is awesome. I can't wait till she wakes up and realizes it.
Me and some of my super cool friends, Dena & Jessi. Laura was off being a super cool stunt pilot. The others were off casting their ballots for the "Worst Mom of the Year."
Andrew with his buddies.
Abi and her buddy Sam and someone who wanted to be their friend. LOL, it's a cute Joy boy!!
Abi with pilot Scott.

IT IS A PRETTY COOL MUSEUM. THEY DO FLIGHT SHOWS FAIRLY OFTEN. WE ALWAYS SEE THE PLANES OVER OUR HOUSE. NATHAN LOVES WATCHING THEM.
Looks like everyone had a lot of fun!! The boy's would love doing this! I may try to take them this summer. And your "photograper" did a great job!;)
This looks really cool. I would have had to agree with Andrew and stay on the ground. ;) People always need a "photographer", right?
Tabi is the same way as Andrew and once we drag or persuade her into doing something she actually really enjoys it. But boy o boy it is a struggle to say the least leading up to that point, loL!
