Camping at Lake Claiborne

Right after we finished at the Graceful Ghost, we met Eric in Marshall and headed towards Lake Clairborne in Louisiana for a weekend of camping with my dad, stepmom and brother. This lake was wonderful! It, by far, is the greatest camping we have ever done at a state park. The facilities were in excellent condition. I wish my bathrooms were that clean at home! They had little small docks all along the camping areas which the kids spent a lot of time fishing on and just lying down looking at the sky. We rented a canoe and had a great time (yes, Stacey, I said great time!) going across the lake. We listened to the Rangers win on Friday night, read, played on the sandy beach, went on a hike, and just relaxed. This place is a definite repeat!
