Andrew & Abi outside when the snow first started.
A snowball fight with Taisha, George, D, Andrew, & Abi
Our beautiful neighbor Andrea. She is from Peru and this was her first time ever to see snow. She had her laptop outside showing her family. We were all able to tell them hello. It was really neat! Her husband is a coach/teacher at LHS and he came around the corner with an armload of snowballs, blasting them at the kids, while yelling, "We aren't in school today, baby!" My kids thought that was really cool!
Taisha and Abi made this beautiful snowman
D tried to shoot some baskets but as you can see it did not work.
Look at how deep it was!

An early morning excursion into the snow. (7:30) Abi & Andrew were excited to wake up and find Chelsea and her sisters here! They tried to fit some play time in before the Longview kids had to go to school.
Andrew getting ready to make snow ice cream! Yes, that is snow that he is holding. They did a great job on the ice cream. That counts as some school, right?
A snowball fight at the park! I gave them 4 minutes to make all the snowballs they could then they went after each other!
For my husband, since he never dragged his lazy behind outside in this winter wonderland!
Chelsea, Taisha and D all decided not to go to school because apparently all the LHS students had a secret vote and skipping won. Chels did spend some part of her morning in the chiropractor office due to a late night fall down the stairs at her mom's apartment. We spent a lot of time outside, a lot of time inside warming up, we watched movies, read and marveled at the beauty of the snow during the day and night. Our God is awesome!
