My handsome hubby turned 40 this past Thursday! We celebrated with
burgers and ice cream cake. It was a fun evening and I think our gift
surprised him; a poker night with his friends! Minus us of course!
Delicious oreo cake that Taisha recommended! You should visit her in the Super 1 Bakery on Hiway 80! She's great. She came over later to eat some cake with us.
Abi also bought her dad this pillow. She has one that is similar on her bed and he likes it. She was so excited to find it the other day and it matched our bed.
The kids with Eric and his mom, Memaw Pat
During Spring Break, Peter had his first friend over! Well, not his first friend but the first friend that he invited over, not that mom invited over. That's sort of a big deal. He was also able to talk to a friend from Yantai that he hasn't spoken to in a year and a half. (That's when he was adopted) It was a big day!
We were able to keep these two cuties the other night! It's so sweet to watch Peter start to interact with the little ones. Abi and Andrew have always loved little ones so I'm glad he's getting the hang of this also. Peter was carrying them around the house and trying his best to protect them. He also enjoyed watching "Diego" with them. He declared it "Cool!"
