Busy Times

Whew! This was an exhausting weekend! We had a garage sale this weekend. I agree with Adriana that I didn't know sitting around with friends and talking could be so tiring. ;-) We (Stacey, Adriana, and I) all did very well. The kids did even better! We made enough for our Six Flags trip and the kids made enough for their summer camps!

Andrew and Eric went on the Men's Canoe trip on Saturday. They canoed on the Caddo River in Arkansas. They had a great time and did not fall over. Andrew was hoping to fall over so he was a bit disappointed! Abi had soccer so between garage selling and cleaning up the garage sale we went to that. Her team did not win but she did great! She and I went and had dinner w/ Stacey and Grace at Cheddars. The girls were so quiet and they entertained themselves so well. Abs and I ran to Target afterwards then we were in bed by 8:30. We were very tired.

On Sunday we went to church, came home and had lunch after a mishap with the grill, Andrew went and played at a friends, Eric ran an errand, and Abi and I just sat around and watched a movie. (what a run on sentence!) That night the kids went to McDonalds during Awana time. They were so excited! This was Abi's first year and Andrew's last year. Eric and I had dinner w/ some friends at Cheddars. (hmm...sounds familiar!) After Awana's the S. girls came over while their parents went to a movie. It was off to bed and they finally fell asleep around 10!

Monday was a whirlwind day. We all slept until 10. (except Eric of course) It was so very nice! After waking up, I cleaned the kitchen and made chocolate balls. Thank you to Stacey N. who kept me entertained on the phone so I did everything much quicker! We ate a very quick lunch then I ran the kids to choir. While there we learned that one of our homeschooling friends lost a portion of their house to fire and they are not sure how much was damaged by smoke and water damage. Please be praying for the Bell family. They have 3 small children. They are not allowed to get anything out of the house right now so that is pretty difficult. During choir, I ran to Target and the bank. After choir, we did our Sonic run and went to Super 1 for the items that Target did not have. We rushed home, dressed Abi for recital practice, went to my moms so she could fix Abi's hair, then on to practice. I was so proud of how well Abi smiled during the performances! She truly loves ballet. After practice, we came home and made dinner. After eating Eric and Abi went to her soccer practice while Andrew and I went to the CHEC book fair. I am so excited about how well we did at the book fair. I came away with a lot of wonderful books and did not spend a lot of money! YAY! Because we stayed until the very end, most people were just giving their things away. Andrew bought a Batman lego set that he loves. I am so very thankful for this book fair and all the wonderful women who give such great advice!

Today I need to do school. This is our 4th week of 6 wks. so it's our "take it easy" week. Hooray! Oh, Chelsea has mono so please be praying that she feels better soon.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

How marvelous! How wonderful!
Is my Saviors love for me!!
