It's THE Mice!
That's what I woke up to at 1 a.m. Abi was saying frantically, "Andrew, Wake up! It's the mice! It's the mice!" In typical male fashion, Andrew did not even stir! I could also hear our dog Sissy roaming around the room. I finally roused Eric and made him go in there. (For the record, if it had been anything else, I would have gone. Little furry things and I do not get along whatsoever.) Eric went in there and confirmed that yes there was something. He came and got his shoe (his shoe?!) and took care of it. He then told me it was a baby squirrel. After putting Abi and the dog back to bed, (Andrew never even woke up and he sleeps right beside Abi) he climbed right back into bed and promptly fell asleep. Ok, HELLO! There was a baby squirrel in the house! How did it get in here?! Are there more? And most importantly, where in the world is it's mom?! I had visions all night of waking up and having that mommy squirrel take me out because my hubby ended her little ones life w/ a shoe. Just another night in the Akin household. Sigh....At least it wasn't a flying bat this time!

I have been Cracking up every since Abi called me about the "Squwwil" Which is the way she pronounced it! I would have loved to have been there!
And you say my blog is funny! lol
Ted would be heart broken if he ever found out that you killed a baby squirrel. But then again, I'm not ready to have another pet in the house! I love it that you had dreams the squirrel was taking you out.
