Friday night Abi went to Big Girl/Little Girl. She was so excited! She slept for about 3 hours. She had soccer on Saturday so that was fun to watch. Here she is with her big girl, Hannah. Hannah did a fabulous job with her. Abi has been talking about it ever since!
Eric went to play video games that night at Tom E.'s house. He was out until 3! Party animal! ;-) Andrew and I hung out and watched a movie.
On Saturday we had soccer games most of the day. That night we went to my brother Christopher's Sr. banquet. It was very nice. The food was wonderful, the decorations were very nicely done, and all of the high schoolers looked very nice. Christopher won the George Washington leadership award! That is a very high honor and we were very proud of him. Christopher is a wonderful, Godly man and I look forward to see what God has in store for him. Here we are together in front of his Sr. board.
Sunday was spent relaxing. It was nice to just not do anything but the kids kept coming in to ask me to do things. Oh well! There will be many more years to nap. My brother Phillip and his wife Raegan did something that just really touched me. I can't share it but it made me so proud to be their sister!
This weekend we had a lot on our plate but Eric and I just decided to do soccer and that's it. I sometimes will over commit us because I feel guilty about saying no. Not this weekend! I felt bad that we missed some birthday parties but my kids get tired of running all the time. Today we skipped choir because both of the kids are stuffy and have a small cough. Normally I would feel horrible guilt over this but why should my kids suffer just because I do not want people to think bad of me? I love getting older!
We leave on Wednesday for New Orleans! Pray that our kids get well and that we all stay safe. Have a great week! Here are some pictures that we just had to share.
My nephew Nathan! We got to keep him last Friday and today!!
