Not one bloomin' pound

I have been walking for about 2.5-3 mo. now. I have not lost one pound! I should be halfway to my Stephanie F. body by now!! What in the world??

My husband tried to convince me that I look good and he thinks I have lost. He has to say that. My mom has said the same thing. She has to say that also. I am just shocked! One pound would be awesome! My best friend just thinks about being thin and it happens! UGH!!! Dang skinny people!

BUT I will not give up. It's not all about losing weight. I feel better now. I want to be healthier. I want to be able to keep up with my kids and eventually my grandchildren. I do want want to be 45 and have to have knee replacement surgery. I don't want to get tired while shopping or walking around Six Flags. If walking has done that for me, then thats good.

Maybe the weights will tone my fat! ;-)

You stinker! Please don't compare yourself to me.

The walking is better than you think. It's toning your body and working from the inside out. It might take a while to see but it will come! Don't concentrate on the losing of the weight part. It will bog you down and down right depress you. God has given you your body to enjoy so enjoy the process of it even if your scale doesn't notice.

AND ... accept the encouragement from your family. They see things you don't because you're too focus on certain aspects. Take them at face value and say "thank you" with a big ol' smile! :)

Aimee...walking has done wonders for me. No, not the weight yet??? BUt, it got me out of a depressed state I could feel myself going back into AND it gives me "me" time to focus on diff. things going on in LIFE right now and to spend time with my God and give him praise. SO, I thank you for encouraging me....you might not have lost weight yet BUT you have blessed this person.((that is 1 thing your walking has done))

Just keeps telling yourself that muscle weighs more than fat . . .
Don't watch the scale watch your clothes too. I was not losing any "weight," but my clothes were feeling a little different! *SMILE*
Keep up the great work! It sounds like you've already got some great motivators! *wink*
