My Crazy Kids

My kids have been saying some crazy things lately! Just a few examples:

Abi: Mom, you have been 100 right?

Me: Um..nooo

Abi: But you're close to it right?

Me: Well about 69 yrs. away from it.

Abi: That's only a few years.

On Friday night we watched The Wizard of Oz for pizza & a movie night.

Abi praying before we ate and started the movie:

"Dear Lord, thank you for letting us watch the Lizard of Oz."

When Dorothy arrived in Oz, Andrew exclaimed,

"Look! She's in munchie land! Look at the little munchies!" (meaning munchkins!)

Tonight I discovered Andrew has Super Mario Bros. on his gameboy! Pure excitement for me. Most people know that is the game I love! Andrew was giving me pointers and I finally told him,

Me: Andrew, I grew up playing this game. Thanks but I've got it.

Andrew: "Mom, are you sure it's the same game?" (in his you-have-to-be-wrong voice)

Me: "Yep. pretty sure"

Andrew: "So you played Super Mario Bras?"

He misread the bros. and pronounced it bras! LOL

Praise the Lord! Eric is working!! We love the heat!
