Did I spell that right? Anywho, I know that all the hotels here are filled to capacity with hurricane evacuee's. (hey I did! Spell check said so!) I know they have not lost their homes or anything but I am sure having to leave your city unexpectantly has to be a bit of a burden. I want to do something. Is taking cookies to a hotel dumb? Can you even do that if they are homemade? Would anyone really even care? Hmmm.....what do you think?

Hmm, I don't know if there are any rules on such a thing?? I wouldn't worry about if others care about it. Your heart is in the right place and you will be blessed for such a kind act and that is all that matters. My sister is coming home. My Mom & Dad were down there already and are bringing her home cuz Chris is out in the ocean probably riding it out. She is a nervous wreck. They have already bought so much for the baby and she is having to load that up to. Please say a little prayer for them as they head back tomorrow morning. It would totally suck being stuck in traffic being 6 mths. pregnant. My sis' SIL came home when the hurricane right after Rita hit and it took her 10 hrs to get to Tyler from Houston. She was pregnant at the time. My sis works at a Vet Office and they are shutting down as well. So she has to bring her animals with her, no boarding. They gased up today. Thank God my parents are there cuz they have to bring my BIL's truck back as well. He just got it and would die if anything happened to it, lol!
I would think they would be thankful for the thought - espeically something homemade since it might be a while before they get something homemade.

my whole family lives in lake charles and they all came to longview to stay in hotels. My aunt got the last hotel room in longview. My cousin is 33 wks pregnant and having contractions already. they are all so upset that they don't know what they will come home to. my aunt literally just moved back into her house since Hurr. Rita. They are all in the same boat... trying to make the best of a sucky situation, so I think anything would be appreciated. From what I hear, most everyone got sent to Shreveport. I bet they a lot of help there. God bless you.

Hey, Hwy 80 mission is full to overflowing! Tonight they served 145 people (usually it's about 50). I bet they would love some cookies!
