Joy beyond belief!

My little sister Jessi is having a baby!!!!! I am so excited! (can you tell?!) She called us last night to tell us. She actually knew last week when we met in Arlington but wanted to confirm with the Dr. first. (little stinker!) That explains her very good mood! She is due on April 13th. We will have two babies in 5 months in our family. (yes, I am a little jealous of that but no I do not want one.)

My mom had taken the kids to Shreveport to spend the night (in a casino! shocking I know) with my SIL, nephew, aunt and cousins. When my mom called to tell us she tried to get me kids to tell me. They wouldn't so my mom said your kids are going to be cousins again. I asked to whom? Since they were with MY cousins I thought one of them were pregnant. My mom said "um..your sister." I started screaming and could not even speak. Eric thought that someone had won a huge jackpot. He kept asking me, "who won? how much?" I finally pieced together that Jessi was expecting! I will say this for my husband; he was just as excited as if someone had won the lottery.

So congratulations little sis! I know you read this blog sometimes. You have made my entire week. The smile cannot be wiped off my face and the tears keep forming in my eyes. I think she needs to start a blog. What do you all think? That way all my friends can blog stalk her. ;-)

Please pray that Jessi and Raegan (my sil) have wonderful, uneventful pregnancies and deliveries. Pray that joy will override fear. Most of you know that our family has some weird, scary pregnancy history so I know that is at the back of Jessi's mind. The best pregnancy story is the one that lasts 3 minutes! "I was pregnant, went in labor, pushed, and there they were!" That is my prayer for both of them!
