Encouraging Verses

Hey! I would love for everyone to leave a comment on a verse(or verses) that really encourage you. Thanks!

Question of the day: When you are about to shower and you use the restroom first, do you wash your hands before getting the shower? Or do you wash them when you get in the shower? Or do you FORGET and just start washing your hair? If it's the latter, please start remembering beforehand!

Here are a couple of my fav. verses

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
Proverbs 16:3

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear ; do not be frightened."
Take Courage
1 Peter 3:14

Hope you like these.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand
Against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.
Psalm 138:7

"I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children."

--Revelation 21:3-7

1 Peter 5:10
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

I say if you forget to wash your hands and just go straight to washing your hair, you should still be okay, because the shampoo gets your hair clean, it ought to get your hands clean, too. :-) So, another question... Do you wash your legs or just let the soap from your hair/upper torso wash them? It was a huge question at the Trustee Retreat last year... You'd be surprised... :-)

Romans 8:31b-34 If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies. Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Isaiah 58:11 - The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strenghten your fream. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Psalm 138:8 - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of your hands.
