Build a Bear

Yesterday we had the joy of going to Build a Bear in Tyler for a birthday party! Abi's friend, Ana Jo, turned six! We rode over with the Hill's and ate at Chick Fil A before the party. That was one crowded Chick Fil A! There were six kids total at the party. They all had a blast! Andrew had 2 friends there also and they made bears. Andrew had a very hard time deciding what to do; by an outfit or build another bear. The bear won. The hostess of the party did a great job. The kids sang, chanted, and looked at the hostess like she was crazy. I love Build A Bear just as much as the kids! I want to buy all the cute little outfits, but what would I do with them then??

Abi's bear before she received her heart and stuffing.

Marching to the stuffing machine. Isaac, why isn't yours on your head?!

Andrew getting ready to stuff his bear. He was wondering why he had to touch the heart to his head, his heart, and so on. LOL

Singing songs with the host

Abi's finished project! I didn't get a picture with Andrew. :-(

The kids and their bears!

Andrew and his friends with some very pink tongues

We did a bit of shopping after the party. The craziest thing..we saw my cousin Emily who is from 2 hours away. Crazy huh? We went to Barnes & Nobles after that. We looked at some books for a while then hurridly came back to Longview because we had a small group leaders dinner. I ate way too much last night. My tummy is protesting! I enjoyed having the time to talk with Laura. It's been too long since we have hung out!

Jaime and I have walked 3 miles for 3 days! Woo Hoo! Having someone to talk to makes the time go so much faster! Allison has done 3.5! We couldn't go Monday and she could go today! I think I am becoming addicted to walking.

I am ready for the weekend. Today Abi has an appt. with Dr. Tom. Her neck has been hurting for 2 days so we need to get that checked out. They are going to piano then it's movie night tonight!

Yikes, it's 10:00! I need to shower! Have a great day!

When we took Randall's Yellow Bear to Build-A-Bear to have surgery (aka to fix all the many holes Rand had made while loving on him), the lady told Randall to rub the heart on his head and kiss it and such. Randall would hesitate and then say, "Um, I don't think I need to do that..." He doesn't really think abstractly and didn't like the idea that seemed silly. :-)
